A podcast to accompany the Ak’b’al trecena in the Maya Calendar Horoscope blog, with this 13 day period being oriented around “darkness”, “hidden secrets”, the “dream world”, the subconscious, earth traumas, challenges associated with ethics and morality, as well as the idea of “sanctuary”. This podcast touches on many of the topics included in the Maya Count-of-Days Horoscope for Nov. 12-24th, but includes additional material as well. Published shortly after this trecena (13 day period) began, this 18th podcast provides a brief review of the energies that were in place around the time of the 2020 election, and then highlights the nature of this Ak’b’al time frame, its patron energy, and key events associated with it. Such events include the assassination of Julius Caesar, the Watergate scandal and Nixon’s resignation, and significant issues that have arisen during this time frame during the last six tumultuous cycles (Aug. 2016 to Nov. 2020). Born during this period, former US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) lends some important “words of wisdom” for contemplation during this period. India’s light-filled celebration of Diwali, coinciding with the first 5 days of this period at this time, is also highlighted.

An introduction to the workings of the core elements of the 260 day Tzolk’in (the Count-of-Days) can be found in Episode One of this podcast series and in the MCA blog section of my mayacalendararts.com site on the Maya Calendrics page.
