A podcast to accompany the Kib’ trecena in the Maya Calendar Horoscope blog, with this 13 day period being oriented around duality, transmutation, and a push towards the restoration of order. This podcast touches on many of the topics included in the Maya Count-of-Days Horoscope for Nov. 25-Dec. 7th, but includes additional material as well. Published shortly after this trecena (13 day period) began, this 19th podcast provides a brief review of influential energies within this time frame, particularly those associated with (among other things) the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, the 9/11 destruction of the twin towers in New York, the pressing Climate Change Report of 2018, and the start of the pandemic last March. The nature of this time frame is discussed and two people born within it are highlighted: novelist George Orwell and artist James Turrell, one of whom brings attention to “darkness”, with the other bringing attention to the light.

An introduction to the workings of the core elements of the 260 day Tzolk’in (the Count-of-Days) can be found in Episode One of this podcast series and in the MCA blog section of my mayacalendararts.com site on the Maya Calendrics page.
