Chikchan
The Chikchan daysign is representative of the vitality of the great Feathered Serpent Quetzalcóatl. Symbolic of transformative Lifeforce, Eternal Renewal, Higher Knowledge, Civilization, the Arts, Inspiration, Liberation, and Freedom, the Feathered Serpent is symbolic of the eternal interplay between Heaven and Earth that leads to the attainment of higher consciousness. Due to these associations the image of the great Feathered Serpent was (and still is) found on many of the sacred buildings of ancient Mesoamerica.
Our jewelry items that are representative of Chikchan include one-of-a-kind porcelain pendants, some strung on cord, some beaded, and some multi-fired with lustres. “Monumental” style items are those with the little “feet”. “Codex” style items are those without the “feet”. Sterling silver pendants are also available, along with personalized pieces. Click here for a Date Decoder to find the Maya Calendar equivalent to your date of birth.
